Arno®Shred

ATM Recyclingsystems offers a wide range of high-performance shredders designed for the efficient reduction of various materials. They are specifically engineered to process scrap and other recyclable materials efficiently, ensuring sustainable reuse.

Arno®Shred V

The shredder demonstrates its strengths wherever different composite materials need to be rapidly and efficiently broken down and shredded. The inner wall of the shredder is a polyhedron with a corresponding number of unfolded edges, where the material is slowed down. Centrifugal forces push the material outward, causing the pieces to be held in the corners. As the rotation continues, the trapped pieces are shredded.

The separation of the material occurs in the same way, as the different specific masses of the materials enable an automatic division, for example, between plastic and aluminum or aluminum and iron.

By using a screening grid, the final fraction size can also be determined. While this option reduces performance, it allows the material to be immediately fed into further processes.

Technical data

Efficient Shredding

With a rotor speed of 1,200 RPM and two powerful 37 kW drives, the Arno®Shred V ensures fast and effective shredding of various composite materials.

Flexible Material Feeding

Depending on the material properties, the shredder can be fed via conveyor belt, plate belt, screw conveyor, or direct feeding, allowing seamless integration into existing processes.

Automatic Material Separation

Thanks to the different specific masses of the materials, automatic separation occurs, for example, between plastic and aluminum or aluminum and iron, eliminating the need for labor-intensive manual sorting.

Robust Design & Compact Dimensions

With a sturdy construction, a weight of approx. 5 tons, and dimensions of 2,900 x 1,800 x 1,800 mm, the Arno®Shred V is highly durable and space-efficient in installation.

    Arno®Shred DS 900

    The powerful and efficient rotary shear – a double shaft shredder – is often used in the pre-crushing of metal, tyres, e-waste or plastic.

    The cutting discs shred the input material in the longitudinal direction. With additional fitted transverse blades,the material is crushed to defined piece sizes.

    With special granulator blades and screen baskets, the double shaft shredder can also be used for fine crushing.
    For swarf shredding at high throughput rates, the ArnoShred DS is available with with double rotor design and stator blades on both sides.

    About 80 blade geometries with 12 different diameters and different blade widths are available.

    Knife Quality

    Our knives are available in different materials and hardness as well as in hard metal.

    Depending on the application, we also supply wear plates in highly tempered or food grade quality.

    Experience

    The technology of our shredder is based on more than30 years experience with several hundred plants supplied from Industrie Service Drüge.

    Additional equipment

    To maximize performance, we also offer auxiliary devices such as feed paddles, feed and discharge conveyors and suction systems.

    Monitoring

    Our control systems are designed to be integrated into production line systems, monitored via modem / VPN. They feature a PLC-controlled reversing and shutdown automatic.

        Arno®Shred SSE

        Specially designed for metals. All surfaces are covered with high resistance Hardox wear plates. Knifes and screens with different geometrical forms and in different materials are available.

        The innovating feature is the tramp metal discharge opening. All lump parts are ejected during the shredding process to protect the tool and increase it‘s lifetime. Additionally a friction clutch protects the drive mechanism against overload.

        Thereby the ArnoShred resists extreme conditions on scrap yards.
