Baling Presses

Arno®Press

ATM Recyclingsystems offers a wide range of baling presses specifically designed for the efficient recycling of various types of scrap metal. The standout models include the Arno®Press K, Arno®Press D, and Arno®Press A. All three models are distinguished by their high quality, reliability, and durability — engineered for continuous heavy-duty operation in demanding recycling environments.

Arno®Press

Arno®Press K

The baling presses of the Arno®Press K series are available with 2 or 3 compression stages. In total, nine sizes are available: Types 100-2 and 600-2 compress in two stages, while types 100-3 to D1000-3 compress the metallic material three-dimensionally.

Due to their massive welded construction, the machines can be used in heavy continuous operation. Each machine can be operated manually and automatically. Through visualization of all processes, the systems can be integrated into production lines and maintained via a modem.

All components in contact with the scrap are lined with high-strength wear plates featuring a specialized profile. The main application area for this series is the automotive industry as well as industrial stamping lines with high scrap volumes.

30% Transport Savings

Up to 30% effort saved in handling and transport of packages due to their cubical shape.

Raw Material Recovery

Packages are easier to charge and melt — free from impurities and achieve higher market prices.

Built for Continuous Duty

Massive welded construction for heavy continuous operation in industrial environments.

Technical Data

Wear plates

Depending on the purpose of the press, we offer wear plates with square-, trapezoid- and wave-shaped profiles in various material qualities.

Container

When the press is installed outdoors, electrical and hydraulic components can be placed in containers, which also offer additional noise protection and reduction.

Mobility

The smaller presses of this series can be equipped with a chassis and mobility can be further increased by adding loading cranes.

Hydraulic tank

The two-chamber system guarantees the supply of filtered and cooled oil to the performance-controlled hydraulic pumps.

PZT Pump Activation Technology

The pump activation technology regulates the required quantity of oil per cylinder, thereby minimising the necessary drive power of the press.

Arno®Handle

The Arno®Handle system ensures efficient and precise material flow in recycling operations. It features a hopper scale for accurate material dosing, a conveyor belt for smooth material entrance, and a bale chute for controlled output. [read more]

Suitable materials

Steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper, and lead — especially body panels from the automotive industry.

Additional equipment

Various conveying systems such as scraper and hinge belt conveyors, as well as weighing, sorting and bale handling systems.

    Arno®Press D

The baling presses of the Arno®Press D series are available in seven sizes. Types 80-2 and 100-2 compress in two stages, while types 100-3 to 800-3 compact the material three-dimensionally. The initial compression is performed by a cutting lid, which allows not only pre-compression but also the shredding of bulky parts.

All components that come into contact with the scrap are lined with high-strength wear plates. Each machine can be operated manually or automatically. Special versions with loading crane, diesel drive, remote control, or a mobile version on wheels complete the range of optional features.

The presses of the Arno®Press D series are preferably used at the scrapyard and in non-ferrous metal plants when it comes to compacting large and bulky parts.

    Cutting Lid

Pre-compresses and shreds bulky parts in a single working step.

    Mobile Versions Available

Optional diesel drive, radio remote control, or fully mobile chassis on wheels (up to Arno®Press D 150).

    Versatile Material Range

Quickly and cleanly compacts copper gutters, aluminum wires, sheet metal scrap and car body parts.
