The Arno®Break Rrail is designed to crush railway rails more effectively than cutting. Currently, two variants are available: the stationary model allows processing of rails up to 120 m long, fed into the machine via a magazine. The mobile version, for direct on‑track use, is equipped with a diesel power unit and a feeding system. Both can efficiently break rails of approximately 24 m length into short sections of 300 to 1000 mm. A special notching and breaking process ensures the rails are fractured with minimal tool wear.
Technical Data
Railway rails represent high‑quality scrap for foundries. The rails are crushed immediately after dismantling (mobile Arno®Break) to avoid special transport.
Processable Materials: Brittle railway rails with as high an alloy content as possible. Soft tram rails, however, cannot be processed.
