ARNO® Cut
Precisely shear and compact construction and plant scrap.
Highlights
- Six sizes from 4,000 to 13,000 kN cutting force
- Wear plates from Hardox 400 to Hardox 500 for long service life
- Additional functions: rail breaking, baling and cast breaking in one machine
- Monobloc construction – no elaborate foundation required
- Air-conditioned, soundproofed cabin with two-joystick control and video monitoring
The ARNO® Cut shears are designed for pre-compacting and cutting construction and plant scrap as well as similar light to medium-weight scrap. Even rail tracks can be cut using special notched blades. A linear position sensor in the cylinders optimizes cutting cycles, while a central lubrication system and clogging/fault indicators simplify maintenance.
Bulky steel structures, beams, pipes and plant scrap cannot easily be transported or melted down. The ARNO® Cut hydraulic shear precisely cuts even thick-walled components into manageable, transport-ready pieces while simultaneously compacting them — for significantly higher loading density in containers and trucks.

Your Advantages at a Glance
Shearing Instead of Tearing
The ARNO® Cut hydraulic shear separates even thick-walled steel structures, beams and pipes precisely and cleanly – for transport-ready pieces without deformation or uncontrolled fracturing.
Three Functions, One Tool
Depending on configuration, the same shear can also take on rail-breaking, baling and cast-breaking functions – a multifunctional tool instead of several separate machines.
Simultaneous Compaction
The material is compacted directly during cutting – this reduces the volume of bulky parts and increases the loading density in containers and trucks for more efficient transport.
Six Sizes
With 4,000 to 13,000 kN cutting force and up to 50 t/h capacity, ARNO® Cut covers every requirement – from the compact scrapyard to the large-scale plant.
