ARNO® Brik
Press turnings, tire wire and sludge into dense briquettes.
Highlights
- For steel, cast iron, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper, bronze, titanium and more
- Also processes alloy powder, slag, black mass, grinding sludge, tire wire and mill scale
- Two- or three-column design for continuous operation
- Three feed variants depending on the material’s flow properties
- Manual or fully automatic control, remote maintenance possible
The ARNO® Brik series presses turnings from metal machining, drilling, milling and turning into dense, transportable briquettes. This significantly reduces storage and transport costs, since briquettes release almost no liquid, and makes subsequent melting easier compared to loose turnings. When briquetting grinding sludge, the oil it contains can also be recovered.
Metal turnings from drilling, milling and turning, as well as grinding sludge and tire wire, are loose, oily and costly to store and transport. Briquetting presses them into dense, dimensionally stable blocks — this saves storage and transport costs, makes melting easier, and with grinding sludge even allows the contained oil to be recovered.
